How can you ensure you choose the right materials?

One of the packages Rae Wolf offers is Style Consultation, as a way to create a link throughout the home.

I’d handed over the shopping list and the cushion I had specifed was out of stock, so they had re-specifed… and it had gone from a boucle fabric, through to a kind of patterend velvet.

I see where they were coming from, it was the same colour… it had a similar repeeated pattern BUT, it didn’t work.

I had added the boucle as a modern contrast against a refined pattern and a block colour. Velvet will always equate with luxury and softness and just didn't work in that specific grouping. The project was a summer house in France and we were using linens, lighter fabrics and gorgeous blues to lift the room against a mass amount of cherry wood.
